Vance Air Force Base is in Garfield County on the south side of Enid. It is about 95 miles northwest of Oklahoma City. From Will Rogers World Airport, use South Meridian, I-40 West, US 81 north, Southgate Road, and Gott Road to reach the main gate. From Tulsa International Airport, follow I-244W/US 412W toward Oklahoma City, then use US 81 south, Southgate Road, and Gott Road.

Visitor Information

The Mendez Visitor Control Center is at 100 Gott Road, Building 72. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. It closes at noon on the last Friday of each month and is closed on federal holidays and wing down days.
