Location and Directions

Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam is on Oahu, about eight miles west of Honolulu. The Pearl Harbor and Hickam main gates are about two miles west of Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, which shares airfield facilities with Hickam Field.

Visitor Information

The Nimitz Visitor Control Center and Pass and ID Office is at 1250 South Drive, Building 3455, Honolulu, HI 96818-4018. Its listed hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and every third Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to noon. The listed hours are identified as effective June 30, 2025.

Family housing is privatized and supported by the Navy Region Hawaii Housing Service Center.
